Bylaws Refresh 2022 – Corresponding update to the Rules
A number of the current Rules are covered in the proposed new Bylaws, therefore the Rules need to be amended accordingly. At the bottom of the page is a PDF of the proposed (revised) General Rules.
Specific Rules that have been removed or modified and the rationale:
Current Rule | Current content | Comments |
1 | Adhering to Bylaws | Removed. This is the law, it does not need to be a Rule. |
2 | Rules about garbage bins | Removed. This is now in the Bylaws. |
3 | Rules about recycling bins | Removed. This is now in the Bylaws. |
5 | Utility Trailer | Remove Utility Trailer VIN and plate number from Rule. This Rule should apply to any and all Utility Trailers owned by the strata. |
6 | RV Storage | Removed the first 1.5 sentences. This is now in the Bylaws. |
7 | Maintenance of units' garden beds | Changed "immediate" to three metres to be in sync with the Bylaws. |
10 | Hot tub rules | Removed a. b. and c. They are now in the Bylaws. |
11 | Alterations | Changed "Indemnity & Alteration Agreement or the Request and Undertaking Agreement" to "LLE Alteration Application" to be in sync with the Bylaws and new forms. |
11 c. | Neighbour form | Removed. This is now a part of the LLE Alteration Application. |
