The Deep Bay Fire Rescue Society is doing a bottle drive this month on Saturday, June 20th but, due to COVID concerns, they do not want people to personally come to the hall to drop off bottles. Instead, they are asking households to leave their refundable drink bottles in a bag outside of their homes and they will go around that day and pick them up.
If you would like to donate your empty bottles – funds raised are earmarked to equip their future new firehall – we will be having a central location here at LLE where you can drop them off. Details of where they can be placed will be announced a few days in advance of the bottle drive date.
