The Deep Bay Fire Rescue Society is doing a bottle drive this Saturday, June 20th but, due to COVID concerns, they do not want people to personally come to the hall to drop off bottles so they are going around to pick them up.
If you would like to donate your empty refundable drink bottles – funds raised are earmarked to equip their future new firehall – please put your empties today or tomorrow (Friday), in the area that our garden clippings go, once the gardening crew have left for the day today and emptied that area out. Please make sure they are bagged and put behind the fence. They will be picked up from there by Firehall volunteers sometime on Saturday morning.
