Hi all –

Council has been talking about getting a park bench for the strata, to put some place where strata residents could enjoy it when out for a walk.

And – Hugh put our name in for, and successfully was offered, a park bench from Qualicum!  A nice, sturdy, commercial grade park bench.  For something like $100.00 – which is a complete steal of a deal.  Thanks Hugh!!

So now, the decision about where to put it. There are two locations being considered for this bench:

  1. Option 1:  by the lower pond, between the road and the pond, up under the trees there; and
  2. Option 2: by the T-junction of the entrance way, beside the fencing for the septic system, in a spot where one can see the ocean a bit.

I have gone out a put an orange pin flag in each of those two locations, in case you want to go have a look.

You are invited to email me your “vote” for which of those two locations is your preference.   Please let me know in the next two days, as I understand that some of our strata folks will be picking the bench up on Wednesday and we can then figure out what will be needed to install it.

thanks!
