Island Mowers are here today, taking advantage of this day of glorious fall weather to do the last grass cut of the year.
They will be back in 2-3 weeks to do a round of leaf blowing and removal. If necessary, they may come back once more in December for some further leaf blowing and removal.
I checked with Rowan (the tall young guy), and yes, their plan is to gather up and remove the leaves for the units along the ditch (they won’t blow the leaves into the ditch).
They will trim the outside (Gainsberg Road side) of the hedge that fronts units 1-6, probably in the spring when the grass seed in the new roadside ditch has grown in. The top and inside of that hedge were well-trimmed last week.
