The following is a service alert on the RDN website concerning our area.
Service Alert – Collection Delayed
Due to unsafe road conditions, collection has been delayed for some sections of today’s (Fri, Dec 2) scheduled Garbage and Food Waste collection.
Our contractor is collecting at every opportunity within our 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. collection window. If your street has not been collected yet, we will attempt to return tomorrow, as permitted by road conditions and available resources to cover the other missed areas across the region.
Service will then follow the regular curbside collection schedule. We will advise next week if collecting Garbage and Recycling instead of Food Waste.
More information can be found at rdn.bc.ca/curbside.
Thank you for your understanding.
