Hello all –
The weather is predicted to be glorious, over the next week or so – inspiring weather to be outside doing gardening things! And – it is time to weed the entrance way, before it turns into a jungle out there, eh.
Here’s the plan:
- I invite you all to come do a bit of weeding, at a time that works for you between now and Sunday. 🙂
- I will put a stack of the brown paper yard waste bags out there, to use. Please put the weeds in a bag, and put the bag on the border close to where you have been working (So, you don’t need to haul it far. Let it be easy!)
- If you see a partially full bag close to where you are weeding, perhaps fill it up before starting a new one.
- PLEASE SHAKE OUT AS MUCH DIRT AS YOU CAN when weeding, before putting stuff in the bags. Thanks!!
- If one of you with a truck, or someone who can pull the trailer, would be willing to take the bags to the RDN tranfer station (disposal place) on Church Road in Parksville early next week, please let me know. (The bags will have to be emptied out at the RDN transfer station, because they do not accept yard waste in bags, so I can go along and help do that if you would like.)
Thanks – and much appreciated! All the flowers blooming along the entrance way right now are gorgeous, and once the borders are weeded it will all look splendiferous!!
