Hello all – two info items for you:
Deep Bay Improvement has suggested the residents of Deep Bay start voluntary water restrictions. The following is an excerpt from a letter on their website http://dbid.ca. “DBID is requesting that water users voluntarily restrict their water use to Stage 3 as identified by the RDN. This allows sprinkling to occur on even days for even- numbered houses and on odd days for odd-numbered houses for a maximum of two hours a day between 7 to 10 a.m. and 7 to 10 p.m.”
Council recommends that owners continue to water 3 days a week and not on Wednesday evenings or Thursdays.

And, Rowan (from Island Mowers) has let me know that they won’t be mowing this week. He is down two of his team today, and the grass is growing very slowly due to the dry conditions, so they will be here to do a full mow for everyone next week, and then will come trim hedges the following week.
