The Ditch Clean-Up Work Party is now scheduled for Tuesday, October 10 at 9 a.m.
The ditch work party, which was originally set to happen in August but was postponed due to there being too many wasps, is now scheduled for Tuesday October 10, at 9 a.m.
We will meet by the lower pond at 9 a.m.. Please wear gloves, and bring saws, rakes, and a wheel barrow if you have one.
The focus of the work will be to clean out brush and debris in and around the ditch from just above the lower pond to down to around the storage shed.
(Your neighbours in the units 13, 14, 23 and 24 have already done a great job of cleaning out the ditch alongside their units, so we will start from where they ended and continue down from there.)
The purpose of the clean-out is to help any water in the ditch to flow smoothly and well once it gets down by the Units, so that it doesn’t back-up and cause problems.
If we have enough people, we will also cut back some of the shrubs and small trees starting to grow around the lower pond.
