Anyone have or know of some old planks or rough old plywood to put on lawn while hauling a heavy wheelbarrow across it?

Hi all –

Dale Phillips is hoping to be back later today, or else tomorrow morning, to finish up the cutting of the hazard trees between units 28 and 29… as soon as the Weather Gods create a window of weather without too much win, or rain, or snow!!

He will be taking the bucked-up big tree trunk sections away for us.  It is mostly black cottonwood, which is not great for burning – but if any of you want some of it, please go help yourself.

Dale asked if we have any old planks (at least 6 inches wide) or old utility plywood sheets, that could be put on the ground for the wheelbarrow and walking, to bring the wood over to the driveway – so that the lawn does not get so chewed up.   So I am checking around:  does anyone have (or does the strata have) some planks or sheets of plywood for this kind of use?

If yes, please either:

  • bring it over to the area by Gillian’s driveway (#28) and put it on the grass there, or
  • let me know and I can come over to pick it up from you, and I will bring it back to you again once this is all done (which will hopefully be tomorrow… depending on the weather.)

Thanks muchly!
