Council Members needed: The AGM for LLE will be held next month, Aug 25. Five of our seven council members will be seeking re-election. In order to function properly LLE needs seven council members. Violet has agreed to let her name stand once again, so the one portfolio to be filled is Maintenance. Please consider running for council and taking on this or any another position. Please note that the Maintenance position entails ensuring maintenance tasks are completed in our strata. This does not mean that the jobs will be completed by the council member.
Strata Maintenance Work: Council would like to remind all residents that our strata will contract out maintenance jobs to residents for $25.00 per hour. If you are interested in taking on some maintenance tasks, please let council know.
Garden / yard waste and lumber at the upper pond: There has been an accumulation of garden / yard waste and lumber by the upper pond where, under most circumstances, it is burned. However, once the fire ban is in effect, please do not bring it to this area when it cannot be immediately disposed of. The trailer is available to be used to dispose of garden waste off LLE strata property. Please be reminded that the only area that garden debris should be disposed of is the designated drop off area by the entrance to the RDN trail.
