Hello all –
We will be holding the annual strata work party to winterize our sprinkler system on Friday October 10, from 8am- 2pm.
We are asking for volunteers to act as look-outs and helpers. For those that have helped in the past, it will be the same format, for those who are new to LLE, here’s the low down. We attach a large compressor to each sprinkler zone and blow out the residual water to prevent damage over the winter.
The day is broken up into 3, 2 hour shifts:
- 8-10 a.m.,
- 10 a.m. -12 noon,
- 12 noon -finish.
Please reply to ronlaroy@shaw.ca with your availability that day so that Ron can schedule people with their preferred time.
As he hears back for you, he will do his best to confirm your requested time slot.
We will need at least 4 people per shift (12 in total) to make this work so please consider helping out.
As well, to prepare for this work, all home owners are reminded to have the bushes around their two green valve boxes cut back (this does not apply to units 1-6), and move any furniture or garden ornaments away.
If you don’t know where your irrigation boxes are, ask your neighbour.
