Hello all –
Well, I had been waiting….. and waiting… for a stretch of several nice sunny days in a row, to schedule the “weeding party” for the entrance way. HA HA HA!! Looks like this spring, such days are in short supply, eh.
And yet, the weeds are happily growing. (I think the rain inspires enthusiasm and vigour in the weeds, actually.) So…. I’m going to go ahead and organize the weeding for this coming week – even though the forecast looks kinda soggy.
Here is the plan:
- Monday or Tuesday, Paul will bring the LLE trailer out to the T intersection and park it there, for loading stuff into.
- Probably sometime Thursday or Friday, Buck will take the trailer to the yard waste composting place.
- So, between now and Thursday this week, I invite anyone willing to help out to come do some weeding in the borders along the entranceway!
- C’mon out whenever the timing works best for you.
- You can empty your buckets etc. into the trailer, once it is parked there. (If you are out there before the trailer arrives, if you like you can leave your buckets at the T-intersection and I will empty them into the trailer once it is parked there.)
- And, if you have other yard waste of your own (e.g. small/fine stuff like weeds and leaves, not big branches) that you want to add to the trailer, you can add that too.
A reminder – PLEASE – NO PLASTIC BITS in whatever you put into the trailer! We can only drop it off as yard waste if it is clean of plastic. Thanks!!
The great thing is – with the weeds being rather large at present, you will notice a very satisfying difference as a result of your work – YAY!
