An industrious group of our owners showed up last Sunday to bring ten distribution laterals to the surface in our waste water disposal field. 

 

All of the laterals on the west side of the access road (16) have now been brought to the surface.

 

Of the 18 laterals on the east side of the access road we now have 10 verified to the surface. 2 were supposedly brought to the surface by George Giles in 2009 but have never been located – 4D and 4E. That leaves six laterals that have not been worked on as yet – 3A, 3B, 4A, 4B, 4C and 4F. We could look at finishing this off in the fall or wait until next June.

Regular lateral flushing should significantly push back the date that our disposal field plugs up and costs us a lot of money.
