Hi all –
I talked with Dan (of Best Turf, who does the mowing here on Thursdays) today, and he mentioned that the grass has been quite wet and so it is harder to mow and it clumps more. He asked me to ask y’all to please not water the grass on Wednesdays or Thursdays, so that the mowing works better. (He recognizes that there is also a lot of dew these days, but watering can add to that moisture, thus this request.) Thanks!
He also mentioned that deep watering grass 2 times a week (and maybe a third time that doesn’t need to be so deep) is better for grass than frequent light watering. So I’m passing on that tip.
