Thank you to everyone who attended the SGM to discuss the proposed new bylaws.
After further discussion with owners following the meeting, input from council and rewording by our lawyer, the bylaws were changed to remove the requirement of strata approval for alterations to the interior of a strata lot (except for alterations to load-bearing walls) and to make window screens the responsibility of each unit’s owner.
These changes are reflected in the latest version of the Proposed Bylaws in 7(1), 7(2)(a) and 7(5) and in 2(5)(c). These items are highlighted in the Proposed Bylaws PDF, which is posted on the Bylaws Refresh webpage.

We hope this is the final version of the Proposed Bylaws, however, our lawyer is undertaking a final review and there may be some further minor amendments.
