The sudden change to windy, wet weather is indicating that our 5pm get together today will just be for the Jack ‘o lantern drop off. I see some have already done so : ) It will still be light at 5 tonight and people can see where they are walking about. This is a good thing because you wouldn’t want to go crashing around the flower bed in the dark!
The pumpkin keeper, and any other hearty souls, will return at 6:00 pm tonight, Friday and Saturday nights to light them up – we don’t want to waste candle power to the day light.
