Alrighty!
The weeding of the entranceway is all done – Yay! (thanks everyone who helped with that – it was all done way ahead of schedule. Fantastic!!!)
So now we are ready for the final step: the top mulch for the entrance way borders.
I have ordered 4 yards (I decided 5 yards is probably too much!) of fine dark bark mulch, from DBL in Parksville. (I have a sample here if anyone wants to see it.) It will be delivered “sometime Wednesday”. DBL will phone me when the truck leaves the yard.
I requested Wednesday morning delivery, so they will aim to do that – but they cannot guarantee a morning delivery just because things are very busy for them right now and they have to figure out their delivery schedule based on trucks available and other deliveries and all that.
All this to say, I will send out another one of these emails on Wednesday as soon as I hear when the truck is on the way. When the mulch is delivered, we can start putting it on the borders. Everyone is invited to join in for that fun. 🙂 Wheelbarrows, shovels and rakes will be very handy so please bring those if you have them!
