Just wanted to let you all know the plan for the next two weeks for the Island Mowers landscaping crew:
Island Mowers are here today, and they are focussing on completing most of the rest of the major cut and clean-up of low branches and shrubs.
They were going to include trimming the hedge along Gainsberg Road facing Units 1-6 today, but the Gainsberg Road edges were hydro-seeded this morning so Rowan said they need to wait for that seed to take before they walk in that ditch. So, that hedge will be trimmed about 6 weeks from now.
Because of the focus on the branches/shrubs this week (and also the grass is slowing down), Rowan won’t be cutting the grass in the areas that are usually cut with the hand mower and hand edger this week. (The tractor mower is mowing the areas that are usually done with the tractor mower.) Next week Rowan will do all the usual hand mowing and edging again.
