Hi all –
I just looked this up, and figured I am likely not the only person in the strata curious to know what “the plan” is for garbage pick-up for our area. Here is what I found on the RDN website:
Due to unsafe road conditions, we were unable to collect a significant area of today’s (Fri Dec 23) scheduled Recycling and Food Waste collection.
Next scheduled collection day, Tuesday January 3 we will collect your Garbage and Recycling carts to accommodate for today’s missed pickup and extra recycling volumes over the holidays.
Food Waste carts will not be collected Jan 3, and will be picked up on the next scheduled day, Tue Jan 10, for Recycling and Food Waste.
More information on our adverse weather operations policy can be found at rdn.bc.ca/curbside
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

All the best to you all –
