The strata helps keep our monthly strata fees down by using volunteers to carry out as much work as possible. We are currently looking to fill three key positions ASAP. For more information on these positions, click the links on the job title.
- The Council position of Maintenance Coordinator. The purpose of the Maintenance Coordinator is to oversee maintenance within the strata. It is primarily an administrative and organizational position, the Maintenance Coordinator does not have to do the hands-on maintenance work. The Maintenance Coordinator works with a team of volunteers and a variety of contractors.
- The position of Sprinkler System Coordinator. This position is a hybrid volunteer and paid position. We need someone to manage the sprinkler system, including organizing the seasonal start-up and wind-up volunteer days, setting strata system’s watering timers, assisting owners with their sprinkler timers. and repairs to the system itself.
- The position of Coordinator for the perimeter Fencing This is a short-term position specifically for this project. Council expects that materials to refurbish the fence that runs along the property line between the entryway and unit 7 will cost approx. $1,500. We already have volunteers to help with the labour, we just need to find a volunteer to coordinate this project. If we have to outsource the project, it will add $2,000 to the costs.
Please let Council know if you can help out.
A big thank you to Ron LaRoy who has filled these positions for the last few years.
