As our year end and our AGM are quickly approaching, I would like to take this opportunity to ask each of you to consider volunteering for a position on our Strata Council.
Volunteering on Strata Council is a wonderful opportunity to get to know and understand the workings of our community and to better appreciate the efforts of previous Strata Councils. The term for a Strata council member is two years and there are a number of positions that need to be filled. If you are interested in becoming a Council member, please let us know by return email and/or feel free to ask one of the current members about sitting on Council. You are also invited to attend a Strata Council meeting as a guest in order to better understand the workings of Council.
Some of our residents have volunteered two, and even three times for Strata Council positions and we can’t thank them enough for their service.
I hope to see you all at our AGM on August 28th.
Thank you,
Margaret Elvevoll, Chair
LLE Strata Council
