Hi all –
Just wanted to let you all know that today is Dan’s last day here (of Best Turf) to do our lawns etc. He is retiring, and will be heading off on a year-long sailing and traveling adventure in the near future.
Rowan, the younger guy who has been working with Dan for the past 4 years, and Rowan’s dad, have bought the company, and plan to take over the completion of our contract (we still have 4 years to go on a 5 year contract.) They will have a new company name: Island Mowing.
While today is the last day for mowing for this fall, Rowan confirmed with he that will be back here in November for the annual leaf clean-up part of the contract, once the leaves have mostly fallen eh. That will finish off their work for us until next spring.
For yard waste that they take in for us, Dan said that today he would take the bags of yard waste, and some of the pile of yard waste in the place behind the fence if he has room – but he may not have room for all the stuff behind the fence. Rowan will pick the rest of that loose stuff behind the fence up when he comes in November for the leaf clean-up.
thanks –
Violet (Landscaping)
