On Thursday, Jan 25 there is a special Garbage & Recycling collection for your route (RE Route). This special collection is because we were unable to collect the route on Thursday January 18 and the majority of the route on the makeup day on Friday Jan 19 & Sat Jan 20.
Our trucks have two sections, and collecting Garbage & Recycling lets us pick-up the most material at once. With much smaller amounts of food waste and low temperatures, most households on your route have more than enough room in their organics cart to wait until next week’s pick-up. Thank you for your understanding, we know this is an inconvenience for some households.
We work hard to collect when and where it’s safe, so please set your carts out at the curb by 8am.
