Revised date for the tree work with Hud and his team: now on June 10-11 (and maybe a bit of June 12)

Hello all –

Hud Elgood and his team (Branching Out Urban Forestry) will be coming here to take down a number of hazard trees that Hud and I looked at last fall.  We had initially penciled in June 2 -3 for this, but now the dates are confirmed for Tuesday, June 10 and Wednesday, June 11 (and maybe a bit of Thursday June 12).

Similar to the other times they have been here, they welcome our help to move the cut branches and wood from where the cutting happens, to the chipper.  They can then focus on doing the cutting and chipping, and we get get more trees dealt with for our money. 🙂

The work will include:

  • a tree and a bunch of branches overhanging Unit #1
  • several cottonwoods by the ditch near the storage shed that need to be taken out before they become BIG problematic trees
  • several alders along the ditch that Hud and I looked at last fall, near the homes along there.

So, if you are able, willing, and available on June 10-11, please mark your calendars and c’mon out to help with this.  It’s pretty amazing to watch them take the trees and branches down – they are very good at what they do!

thanks –

Violet (LLE Council, Landscaping)
