Hello all –
Jeannie and I have been putting landscaping cloth on additional parts of the entrance way borders, so that more gravel can be put down. The gravel has arrived, and it is in three piles along the entrance way. There are orange cones out to mark the piles, but please drive with caution.
The two teens who will be coming to do the shoveling of the gravel were originally scheduled to come do that work this weekend… which is why the gravel was delivered today. However – two things have happened that will delay that work until Tuesday:
- there is a heat wave expected to be here over the weekend (not great for shoveling work!), and –
- the two guys’ graduation festivities are this weekend.
So – they are now scheduled to come on Tuesday. All this to say – you get to enjoy navigating around the gravel piles for a few days. 🙂
Also – a reminder – on Tuesday and Wednesday we will also have Hud Elgood and his tree-cutting team here, to take down more hazard trees. If you are willing and able, please come out to help with carrying branches and wood (so that they can focus on cutting and chipping).
Thanks!
Violet (LLE Council, Landscaping)
