We have been contacted by the Deep Bay Fire Department to let us know that they will be conducting a training exercise for a few hours in the area behind unit 15 and the RV Parking this evening, June 1, 2026. They will be using water from the hydrant. They will not be harming the pond or any surrounding areas. Any questions, contact Ron Chamney, unit 21, 250-228-8840.
This is a great opportunity for the local firefighters to familiarize themselves with our strata and the fire fighting operations that would be required here.
