Hi all –
This year, Island Mowers has only been able to take light fine yard waste for us, which is grass clippings and leaves. The guy who used to take our “mish mash” of yard waste is no longer taking it, and the place where Island Mowers goes to now is picky about only taking “clean” grass and leaves.
As a result, a lot of what we have been putting in the strata’s “yard waste” area is not able to be taken by Island Mowers, and it is once again really piling up.
I will ask the father-son gardening company duo to come take it away for us once more, as they did once before this summer. (And, a big thanks to Paul for taking a truck-load of yard waste stuff from there too, a while back.)
As I expect there will be lots of yard waste coming in the next few weeks (due to cleaning out our gardens, and leaves), I would like to make things manageable and reasonably easy to move out. So, please put your yard waste in the big paper bio-degradeable yard waste bags and keep them at your place for now, and I will let you know when to bring them over to the strata’s yard waste area to be taken away by someone.
thanks!
Violet (LLE Council, Landscaping)
