Hi all –
Dan, our Landscaping contractor who has done the LLE landscaping contract since perhaps the beginning of LLE times (I know it is a lot of years, at least!) is retiring at the end of this season, which is sometime this month!! He has plans to join a friend with a sailboat, to go sailing for the next year as the launch of this new chapter in his life.
To thank him for his many years of good service, and to wish him a good send-off, there is a card plus some lovely nautical things to give him as a gift (including a great journal for his trip that Ted and Marilyn procured, some interesting already-travelled nautical charts that Ted found, and some Tofino beer with ocean waves on the box).
If you would like to sign the card, I will put the card (and the gifts so that you can take a peek if you like!) on a table in my garage at #4.
I’ll have my garage door open this afternoon (Sunday) and Monday and Tuesday this week. Drop by anytime on those days and just go in the garage to sign it 🙂
Thanks!
Violet
(p.s. I will find out this week whether Dan found a new owner for his business/successor for the contract with us. )
