For LLE owners and if you have tenants in your unit during the winter months, they should be made aware of this.
IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO ALREADY, YOU NEED TO WINTERIZE YOUR OUTSIDE TAPS.
- All hoses should be disconnected from the taps.
- If you have freeze protected taps, then you are OK to leave them pressured with water. If you do not have freeze protected taps you should isolate them somewhere inside your unit then go outside, open each tap and leave them open all winter.
We’ve had some damage incidents in the past, so we want to have a clear winter this year.
